MS, PhD- Pre-Licensed Therapist
Everyone has a story, and every story is unique. Whether you’re navigating a life-changing event, dealing with anxiety, depression, or grief, facing relationship challenges, or simply feeling “off” without a clear reason, I’m here to walk alongside you. My goal is to create a space where you feel truly seen, heard, and supported as we work together to help you heal and move toward your goals. I believe in a personalized, collaborative approach to counseling. Together, we’ll explore the factors contributing to your current challenges, develop healthy coping strategies, and identify what truly works for you. My counseling style is warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental, and I aim to create a safe environment where you can freely work towards your goals. My commitment to your mental health is rooted in personal experience, I’ve seen firsthand how transformative counseling can be for individuals and their loved ones. I have a strong understanding of grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues, and how these experiences can affect every part of your life, from work and sleep to self-esteem and connection with others.

I grew up in a small town on the Mississippi Gulf Coast in a family committed to service. My father retired after 25 years in the United States Air Force, and my brother served in the Army and later retired from the Phoenix Police Department. These personal ties have given me a deep respect for those who serve and a heartfelt understanding of the sacrifices and stressors that come with those roles.

Professionally, I bring both academic training and life experience into our counseling sessions. I am a pre-licensed counselor pursuing my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Grand Canyon University. I also hold a Master of Science in Health and Wellness from Arizona State University and a PhD in Psychology from Grand Canyon University. I am currently under the clinical supervision of Julie Russomanno, M.C., LPC, an AZBBHE-approved supervisor. I seek to help you and others with the knowledge and life experiences I have gained along the way.

It would be an honor to support you as you navigate your healing journey. If you choose to take the next step, I look forward to meeting you and learning about your unique story.
